It should take no greater effort than a brief review of the statistics around veteran and first responder suicide to convince anyone with a beating heart that our healthcare system is failing them. There are many cultural factors that contribute to the internal and external stigma against vets and first responders seeking mental health care, but even when those barriers are overcome there remains a real poverty of culturally-competent treatment options.

At Front Line Foundations, we are a dedicated team of people who provide culturally-competent mental health care to veterans and first responders using methods and modalities that have been working for warriors for thousands of years. These practices help to cultivate a healthier relationship with the workings of the human mind and to reforge the critical connection between the mind and the heart.
Like so many small providers, we have found it difficult to survive, working against health insurance companies to cover even the partial cost of the services that we provide to our clients. We have created a Scholarship Fund to help offset the cost of treatment for the uninsured and the under-insured. We will never turn anyone away based on inability to pay.
