Veteran’s Day Flag Raising Ceremony

The FLF staff attended a flag-raising ceremony at the Keene YMCA yesterday on Veteran’s Day. Matt Primrose, the Facilities Director at the YMCA, and also a veteran of the U.S. Army, was behind the event. The YMCA did not have a flag pole prior to its installation yesterday. Jake’s 5-Star in Keene was generous enough to foot the bill for the new pole. Matt Primrose and Joe Goodwin, also a U.S. Army veteran, raised the flag for the first time yesterday on Veteran’s Day as part of a larger ceremony honoring the service of our country’s veterans.
